We may collect contact and account information, login credentials, date of birth, emergency contacts, training goals, membership and appointment history, trainer assignments, progress measurements, uploaded content, communications, merchandise orders, and payment or transaction details.
With your participation, we may also collect health and wellness information such as injuries, allergies, medications, physical limitations, dietary restrictions, physician-clearance status, and fitness assessments. Do not provide information that is not relevant to safe training or services you request.
Our systems may automatically receive device, browser, IP address, page activity, cookie, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the website.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide training, scheduling, memberships, videos, and merchandise; personalize fitness and nutrition guidance; communicate about appointments and services; process and document transactions; respond to inquiries; maintain safety; prevent misuse; improve operations; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Health and Wellness Information
Health information is used to support safer, more appropriate coaching and is available only to personnel and service providers who need it for their responsibilities. VB Fitness may not be a healthcare provider or a covered entity under HIPAA. You should not assume that information submitted to a general fitness platform is governed by HIPAA, though we still use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
Call emergency services for urgent medical needs. Do not use the member portal or contact form for emergencies.
Payments and Third-Party Services
Payment processors may collect card and billing information directly under their own privacy policies. VB Fitness should not store complete payment-card numbers in its application database. Cloudflare or another video provider may process device and viewing information when streaming content.
Links to third-party websites are governed by those parties' policies, not this Policy.
Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and safety records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by record type.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
Your Choices and Requests
You may update many profile and health details through your member account. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information, unsubscribe from marketing, or close an account by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when legally permitted or required.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or appeal. We will respond to valid requests as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Children and Minors
Our online services are not directed to children under 13. Training for a minor requires involvement and authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without appropriate permission.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this Policy as our services and legal obligations change. Material updates will be identified by the effective date and may also be communicated through the website or member account.
